Durham, Madison and Wilkes Counties Choose New, Certified ES&S Machines and Software
NEW BERN, North Carolina – April 29, 2019 – Election Systems & Software (ES&S) and Printelect are honored to announce that the North Carolina counties of Durham, Madison and Wilkes are extending their partnership with ES&S as their election management vendor of choice.
The counties made their decision following a successful live election where they tested the most recently certified iteration of ES&S precinct and central tabulators – the DS200® and DS850® – and Electionware® software. ES&S’ partnership with Durham, Madison and Wilkes County will extend a history of quality service and support.
ES&S has utilized Printelect as its maintenance and service partner for these counties’ existing tabulation systems, implemented in 2005. With Printelect service offices in Raleigh and New Bern, N.C., the proximity to local, skilled and certified technicians has helped extend the useful life of the existing equipment to more than 12 years. The maintenance and field service capabilities, as well as a comprehensive existing relationship with county personnel, give the Printelect and ES&S partnership a proven formula for success and longevity in North Carolina elections.
